WHAT'S NEW FOR THE 2022 LEXUS ES

The 2022 Lexus ES has been a flagship sedan for seven generations and its new iteration promises to level up the experience for drivers in Edmonton.
Now available at Lexus South Pointe, the 2022 ES features several brand new features for a new year including a fresh grille, 2 new exterior colour options and a new trim — the Lexus ES 300h F Sport. We break down all the exciting new details here.

WHAT ARE MY 2022 ES POWERTRAIN OPTIONS?

With the 2022 Lexus ES, buyers have a choice of three powertrains:

• 2022 ES 250 - 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 203 horsepower and comes standard with all-wheel drive.
• 2022 ES 350 - 3.5-liter V-6 that generates 302 horsepower and is coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission and is FWD.
• 2022 ES350h - 2.5L Atkinson cycle Gasoline Engine and Electric Motor that gives owners 215 HP. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive are standard.

WHAT DESIGN CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE?

The 2022 ES showcases several new design elements including a new grille pattern on all trims except the ES F Sport. The beautiful new mesh design shows off a series of L shapes that resemble the Lexus emblem.

Finished with Graphite paint, the new grille gives the ES a fresh face while still holding on to the traditional elements that ES enthusiasts have come to love. The 2022 model also features newly redesigned standard bi-LED headlamps with dynamic auto-levelling.

And for our guests who always pay special attention to the wheels, there are some new additions for a new model year. The 2022 ES Luxury trims now feature a larger 18-inch wheel, with a split-10-spoke design and two-tone Black and machined finish.

An additional 18-inch five-spoke alloy noise reduction wheel is available with the Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims. Finally, ES F SPORT models get exclusive 19-inch split-five-spoke alloy wheels with a new Black finish that really brings to life the sporty look-and-feel F SPORT fans love.

The 2022 ES comes in 9 beautiful shades like White Pearl and Caviar, and also includes two new exterior colours for a new year — Iridium and Cloudburst Gray.

The 2022 ES 300h features the 2.5L Atkinson cycle Gasoline Engine and Electric Motor that gives owners 215 HP. Our guests continue to rave about Lexus hybrid’s self-charging hybrid powertrains.

Not only do they deliver highly efficient fuel economy ratings — 5.5 L/100km in the City and 5.2 L/100km on the Highway — the drive is responsive, engaging and so smooth. You get the best of both worlds.

New for 2022, the ES 300h is also available in the F SPORT trim giving you a more dynamic exterior design and upgraded sporty features.
